EPR and solid-state NMR studies of poly(dicarbon monofluoride) {[C.sub.2]F}[.sub.n]
Article Abstract:
Poly(dicarbon monofluoride) {[C.sub.2]F}[.sub.n] was studied by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and solid state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The results showed the presence of [sp.sup.3] hybridized carbon atoms that are exclusively bonded to other carbon atoms and ensure the cohesion between fluorocarbon sheet pairs in accordance with the structural model of {[C.sub.2]F}[.sub.n].

Solid-state NMR study of the post-fluorination of [([C.sub.2.5]F).sub.n] fluorine-GIC
Article Abstract:
The solid-state NMR studies of [([C.sub.2.5]F).sub.n] fluorine-graphite intercalation compounds (GIC) which converts to covalent graphite fluoride during a post-treatment in pure fluorine gas is reported. The results provide insight into hyperconjugation of the C-F bonds with neighboring unfluorinated carbon atoms.

Rotation and diffusion of [H.sub.2] in hydrogen-ice clathrate by [super 1]H NMR
Article Abstract:
The pulsed proton NMR line shape measurements on [H.sub.2]-[D.sub.2]O clathrate formed at 1500 bar and 250 K is reported. The line width of ortho-[H.sub.2] is found to be dominated by the intramolecular dipolar broadening that is modulated by [H.sub.2] molecular reorientations.
